Pleco eating meat?

My 11 inch black common pleco has been eating the chicken gizzards, liver, etc. that I have been feeding my bichir, is meat ok for my pleco?

I wouldn't feed it that. Your pleco is a herbivore if you give him any meat try bloodworms.

My pleco eats meat. I feel that plecos in the wild probably eat meat. I also feel that plecos are more omnivorous than they are herbivorous. I think that a large percentage of a pleco's diet is plant material, but I think that they will resort to meat, if plants are not available. I have no issues with you feeding your pleco meat, but I don't understand feeding any fish chicken entrails. Why not feed something that the fish naturally find in nature?
