What does a fish who's slime coat is being eaten by a plec look like? I just treated my rescued discus for ich and now the biggest discus looks like his sides are worn and one pectoral fin looks really worn. And it hit me this morning that maybe it's the small plec? Water params are legendary, 50% water changes a day. Is there anything else that can wear down the slime coat and grind down a fin?

how big is your pleco?If a pleco is eating other fishes slime coats then it is not being fed enough or correctly.
But a Pleco that had this tendency may carry it over to a new owner? My readings have lead be to believe that once a slime coat eater, always a slime coat eater. But that was not the question.
