So I tend to stick with store bought pellets for my fish considering that there made to give my fish what they need. Well I got curious about feeding them bell peppers so I got one that was left over from a dinner that required less then expected. Cut it up into three sections and tossed one in. Seeds were removed and was washed. Well it floated and I didn't feel like weighing it down since this was at like 1:30am figured I could when I got up. To my surprise there is virtually nothing left. They loved it.

Yes, they love it but space it out, your filter will get clogged faster. Butternut squash is also good but they clog up the filter way too fast.

I usually mix my pleco food, mixture of nls, massivore, earthworm pellets and krill pellets, I mix them in bowl before putting in the container ready for feeding.

Yea that's why I never cared to feed my plecos cucumber or zucchini cause of the mess. I am seeing green colored poops already but I think my canister filter will handle it ok. Not planning on just giving them just veggies seeing how I got psueda's as well which is in the photo eating it lol. Just wanted to try it and well it was a big hit.

I wanna do a DIY over head sump. I notice my canister filter gets dirty way to fast with all the panaques and its a pain to clean. Will help if I do decide to try more veggies.
