Pleco Feeding Portion

I bought a bag of hikari algae wafers and I'm planning to get a baby but....
i think they're around 4".

how many wafers should I feed every night?

What species? I usually give them 2. Remember to vary their diet... check the dietry thread sticky.

Ok I will go look.
I'll probably get a sailfin since they're not gonna vanish any driftwood like the royals..

But I think they'll be around 3" when purchased..and that's what I want to know.
The back of the hikari bag only said as much as they can feed in 2 hours..lol i'm not gonna sit infront of my tank for 2hours straight and see how much it eats, haha

In that case, you need to feed some veggies and some more protein based foods too. Do it as instructed in PM, and check the dietry thread for different food ideas.

I give mine sinking carnivore pellets by Hikari, as well as the algae wafers!!
