Well, I took Liz's advice on an old feeding post and fed my Pleco a piece of carrot last night. My question is if they don't eat the whole thing the night before, should I remove it soon? I know I should remove it before it starts to decompose, but will they continue to eat off it?????:screwy: Thanks...steve

And before anyone asks, it was just a small piece.....

My one pleco absolutely loves zucchini. I leave a piece in the tank and he eats off of it all day and night. I just remove the skin when he's finished and repeat the cycle.

Generally take any veges out before they start to rot, it will foul up your water quality. 12-24 hours is fine for most veges, so leave it there overnight and take out any left overs next day.

Cheers

Ian

I put in at night, if any is left by morning take out, and then repeat. The best eating hours are overnight anyway...
