I have a 8+ inch sailfin pleco in a 55gallon community and a 3 to 4 inch royal pleco in a 125 planted. I give the sailfin zucchini and cucumber every day or and the royal cleans the glass (and does a good job) I do throw in zucchini and cucumber once and a while (yes I know he needs food more often) he also has drift wood. I was wondering could I feed just good old potatos to them?

I always did well with zuchhini and cuckes, added some algae wafers and happy plecos. They would go through the vegetables in 2-3 days and I'd just replace them when they were done. wafers were a rare treat, I always bought Hikari wafers because they're high quality and I didn't feed them too much.
