Hey all,
I have a 190 gallon tank with some big boys in it. I was looking for a different type of pleco that I could add that may be 5" or bigger that they wont eat or mess with. I have a common pleco now but we all know that they are no fun! I was looking into like a zebra pleco etc but I have no clue about the sizes that they reach?!? If anybody could help me out in the different types of plecos and the sizes they reach that would be awesome! Thx so much!

Well what kind of tankmates are we talking about here?

If you don't like the common plecos, a Marbled Sailfin pleco is a nice alternative.. They are usually listed as commons and sold for about the same too.. An Adonis pleco might work, but the lyretails might also get nipped. I'm sure theres more out there, theres hundreds of species of Pleco!

there are lots of plecos who can hang out with big boys but they're gonna cost you an arm and a leg to buy one with size. Personally I like the royals and gold nuggets.

check the pleco forum, theres loads of pics and infos in there that might help you choose the right one for your tank, and pocket
