Well if you like common plecs then good catch. I personally go after the more rare exotic types. I have, however, been known to keep monster common plecs. One thing to watch out for though, the petco near my house is very poorly ran, and the fish are all infected with one or more parasites/diseases. Quaratine the fish you do get from petco for a minimum of 2 days, and treat for parasites while your at it, just to be on the safe side.

definitly, petco by me had 8 out of 10 tanks with either dead fish or ick in them, so watch out.

Out of all the tanks at my local Petco, only the Percula tank looked good. They can't even keep platys healthy!
