Ok so I got my baby bristlenose maybe three weeks ago max. Since then he has atleast doubled in girth and length! It was a rather small fellow when I got him and I was just wondering if this crazy growth is going to continue or if it will slow down. Also what is thee official max size for them?

max size six inch its pretty unlikely though they are pretty slow groing are you sure its a bristlenose but had a royal that has put some size after removing a tankmate maybe lfs was starving them but keep doing what yyour doin
Assuming that you have the common bristlenose, according to PC the max size is 4.9" SL:

The store that I got him from is really good with their fish and actually have a huge breeding facility in the store which is where this fit came from so it is hard for me to believe he was starved or mis id'ed. Here is a picture though you guys tell me I am deff no pleco expert.

common BNs have been said to hit max size in 1 year... seems like normal growth, mine is a lot slower.
