I just picked up 8 L47 at ~5.5" and 8 L177 at about 4" so I took a picture also of my quarantine setup. 60 X 22 X 16" with 2 XP4, 2262, 25 watt UV, Hydor 3250 and air stones. I keep it at 83 degrees. It has 10 4" roseline barbs to keep the bio load up between batches. It also has 4 > 12" clown loaches I picked up last week. I keep the fish in it a month or 2. What do you use?

nice setup. Are those the mangos form exotic aquatic? I purchased a 25g cube to use as a quarantine tank. Once I get my ngts out of there I will look into getting some more L14s, so I can quarantine them

Also very nice mangos

Good set up, with fish like that you'd want to take quarantine seriously! Looking forward to seeing some pics of the big clowns, hope you can take some when transferring them out of quarantine with something to give an indication of size. Pics of clowns that big with accurate measurements are few and far between.

Just curious when you add a large group of fish to that tank how do the filters handle it? Are the roseline enough to keep the filters ready?

The L47 & L177 were from Freshwater Exotics. This was the 1st time I've used them. Best price I've seen in many years for mid-sized ones. They were great to work with. The CL came from Wes (always great TRUE SIZED fish).

I try and have at least 50% of the expected fish mass in the tank before introduction. I put in 3 8" plecos a few weeks before the CL (then removed them). Nothing extra was needed before the L47 & L177 addition. An aged tank and filter responds quickly to extra bio load. The roselines are just to keep things working. I don't use medications in this setup (I very rarely use any and then in a different tank) so the BB stay active with only UV on this tank. If I'm getting a very large shipment like 7 L25 > 11" I empty the tank they going to go into and don't need this setup.
