These two plecos came with a free 29gallon tank I picked up today. I really haven't owned many, other than your common pleco. Could someone identify these guys for me? Thanks in advance.

the brown/striped one is a clown pleco, and the albino one looks like a FEMALE albino bristle nose pleco(no bristles on the nose means female usualy, or young male)

hope this helps.

yup. Does the white/yellow pleco have black or red eyes?

The eyes have no pigmentation in them, I guess you could say the look red/orange

you got a side shot of it? Its probably albino though. I was just checking as there are albinos and leucistics.

i have both kinds.........you wont see that clown pleco much and he wont do anything and yea as stated above you need driftwood for it......but the albino bristlenose will clean the hell out of your tank....my tank had algae out the ass and when i put the bristlenose in it was gone in like 2 days and i see it a lot more

some bristlenose are pretty good algea eaters. I've never had one that's been very good at eating algae for me.
