Pleco ID

Started looking into plecos after seeing Sescil's collection. Just picked this one up a few days ago. Can anyone out there help me ID this pleco. I think it maybe L191 or L190, not sure though.

it looks just like mine which is L-191. i think the eye color is about the only difference. mine does not have the real distinct orange eyes.

I think it is a royal pleco, I hope to get my hands on one some day.

L027 Royal pleco ( Panaque nigrolineatus ) grows to about 10" comes from south america !

i'd go for an L190 because of the brighter eyes and the less broken stripe pattern! i wouldn't think it was an L027 which is the Golden Line Royal plec which is more yellow then green

This is a Panaque Suttonorum L191, The coloration of the eye and the stripes is the main difference. Definitely not a L027 as it lacks the large barbed gill covers.

if i had, or do have more than 1 pleco in the same tank, maybe like 4-5, would they fight, and there all diffrent breeds of plecos.
