Pleco ID?

hey, i just picked up this guy a couple days ago from a LFS. They had him labeled as a L-052. But I think he maybe a snakeskin pleco(L-037). Is this correct? also, i can't find any info about this species. If that is the species, does anybody know anythin about this pleco?

I think you are right, it's Hypostomus faveolus

Sweet fish. Ive seen one that was about 6". Unfortunitly planetcatfish doesnt have much on it other then the adult size being about 8". How big is he now? About 3"?
