Pleco identification question???

Hi fellow fish keepers!

I recently ordered a red titanic pleco L273 from a reputable online retailer and received the fish below. It certainly doesn't look like the fish I ordered and its much bigger than the fish I thought I was getting. I think I have an idea of what it is but would like a second, third, fourth etc opinion on what you think it is????

All thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

It's definitely a Pseudacanthicus, at least, so there's that; doesn't look like L273, though, sadly. Probably L024.

Here are some new pics of the pleco now settled in. I'm thinking its an L025. Any thoughts????

Yeah I was thinking the same until I saw the black spots on the head which I believe only appear on the L025. The retailer has replied to me to say I need to wait until it settles in?!? (as it might magically turn into a L273!)

Yeah, that definitely looks like an L025
The pale colours of the first pic threw me off somewhat. IIRC some L024 do have spotting, but it is rather minor and fades with age.
L025 really isn't a bad fish, though; still one of the more expensive Pseudacanthicus, and rather pretty.
Definitely doesn't look like L273.

Thanks for your comments - reassured me that I wasn't going nuts. Retailer has just confirmed that it's not a L273 and they've apologised for the error. I've said i'm going to keep the L025 as its a nice fish and they have offered a discount on the L273 that I should've received. So fair enough all round

Actually, as 273s get bigger they do not necessarily get more beautiful. But 25s do.
