pleco in outdoor pond!

I'm planing on getting a pond about 1000 gallons, and I want to have plecos in it. the problem is the weather in north Texas can go down at low as 10 F and I don't know if they can survive in that condition.
Have any one of you who live in the U.S ever had plecos in an outdoor pond through winter?

Or had a heater to the pond. Can be costly.

Ya I highly doubt a pleco could stand weather that cold, It's going to have to come inside during the colder months
