In search of Leiarius
i was wondering what type of pleco eats string alae and will leave the slime coat of goldfish and koi along in an outdoor pond. the pleco would only be there in the summer, the pond has a ph of 8.0 and in the summer stays in the 80's .

none really i'm affraid, at a guess, i'd say that otto's were your best chance but these are tiny plecs and you'd lose them in a pond
 
Thanks for the reply scatz, well the string algae died down to a thinner layer without treatment.
