I just wanted to start something. They have it in the cichlid section and i wanted a pleco one just because. Please no comments just profiles. I'll start it off with my pleco. The marbled sail fin plecostomus. Put the type of info i put like size, food, name, scientific name, tank mates, temperature, water conditions and what ever else you want or need on here.
Name: Marbled Sailfin Plecostomus, L083, L165, Sail Fin pleco, Pterygoplichthys gibbiceps
Size: Some say 16" some say 18" my LFS said 12"
Temperature: 23-27C or 73-81F
PH: 6.5-7.5
Dh: 4-20
Diet: Herbivore, loves algea but needs a variety of defferent foods
Tank: 125+g, densly planted, preffers low lighting
Temperment: peaceful
Active time: Night
Tank mates: acording to peteducation.com Angelfish, discus, african cichlids, South american cichlids, tetras, Barbs, Danios, Rasboras, Gouramis, Rainbowfish, Guppies, Platies, Mollies, Swordtails, loaches, plecos, and scavenger catfish.
Note: They need a huge filter i have a baby and it has pooped more than any pleco i've ever known.
Ideas: Please make profiles on Common Pleco, Bristlenose pleco, Rhino pleco, scarlet pleco, and Royal pleco.
