Just sharing some info about a magnificent pleco..truly a piece of art if one may call it :)

It is the biggest in the Panaque family...I have seen specimens that are 70cm. Although most specimens u see around are grey or almost black in colour, there are also specimens with spots or worm-like markings on their bodies and these special specimens are highly sought after by hobbyists..

Scientific Name : Panaque sp.
Common Name : LDA65 Titanic Panaque
Potential Size : 70cm or more
Origin : Peru, Iquitos

Here's some pics of this beautiful fish from yours truly

next time i take a pic with a "oooh so cutey little" cory in my hands yeah? :grinyes:

yeah my main passion are plecos..i dun have an exact number..but reckon should be close to 40+ of them, all separated between 3 tanks...
I also keep discus and angels, cories and some tetras as tankmates..oh yeah not to 4get, i am a closet big cichlid lover! :D

Whoa, I want one. Do they ever come in smaller? I didn't know the pleco referred to as "titanic" was a Panaque sp. That's my favorite group of plecos. If I had my way I'd have every species from the genus, especially the blue eye.

asome pics i need to get me one of those

There's at least two plecos with the name "Titanic" in the common name: L-273, which is a Pseudacanthicus and LDA65, which is a Panaque.

Woah!

MONSTER pleco
