I have a pleco about 8 or 9" and has been doing well for the last 2 years. This pleco is housed in a 90 gallon tank with a giraffe cichlid that is about 7 or 8". The pleco appears to be fine and is eating well although I just noticed a large sore on the side of his mouth. I cannot find my cable to download a picture tonight but i was hoping someone would have some insight or a treatment.
Note: it doesn't look like an injury it appears to be more like an open sore.
