Pleco named Dragon

I posted over at plecofanatics.com and they sent me over here.

Ok so I have a pleco named Dragon who's been in my family for at least 10 years. He is 16" long and growing.
I really want to keep him but can't

because he is in a 55 gallon tank and I feel really bad about that. He can hardly turn around. I can't get a bigger tank because I move to much and it's too difficult to move.
I need to find him a new home where he will be well taken care of. He is very healthy. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I would go about finding a suitable home for a 16 inch fish? I thought about just putting an add in the paper but then who knows where he would end up?

I could but would he end up in a fish store? and would I would have to find someone local or learn how to ship fish... not bad maybe i'll try it.

Chances are you could find someone local or someone who is really interested in him and will show you how to ship him. This is a great place for what your talking about.
