Hello guys. First time ever posting in this area. I have a 180 gallon tank with (3) 5-8" Umbees and a 8" pike.

I wanted to know if there was a pleco type that doesnt get too big < 4-5" that my cichlids would leave alone. I am a fan of letting algae grow for the natural look, however my 180 is getting out of hand. Would you guys be able to recommend me something? Flagtail? Pleco type?

Get yourself a nice Gibbycep,

they continue to eat algae even when full size, where a common will get lazy.
I would not think too many <5" pleco's could survive with those tankmates but you're mileage may vary.
