Pleco or Cat for my JD tank

I have 4 juvi Jd's left in my growout due to my one with the damaged eye and fin dying.
Myquestion is I want some kind of bottom dweller or sucker for my tank.
My LFS has a huge whiptail for 35. Like 12 inches+
Would he attack my JD's?
What other pleco's and cat's would you recommend for this setup so I have some variety.

I dont know a great deal about whiptail catfish, but I just googled them and it says they don't get to 12". Also says not to keep them with fish that may "bully" them (i.e. JD's).

How are ur JD's with each other? I've never seen them in a group (outside of when they are 1" for sale at LFS and there are dozens of them).

Yeah my friend Gary, the owner of the LFS said that is what it is, but I was kind of doubtful. My Jd's are great with each other. They all leave each other alone and when i drop in baby brine cubes they don't fight each other off. I just need something else because the tank is kind of boring me as a one specie tank.

If this is the 55 go for a rubber lip or bristle nose pleco

No they are now in my 75 due to my Aro dying because he jumped out of my tank while I was at work. I am trying to work out a deal on a 110 that all these are going to be moved into ASAP, but I want something that will get big also.
