Pleco Poo....mmmm

My parents have 2 common plecos who crap like 2 foot long strrings. It's disgusting! Mine is as big as theirs and it doesn't do that. Is this normal? I hate seeing monster terds that wrap around the tank decor.

pleco's suck because they poop so much, so i dont own any more pleco's

i didn't midn until i got sand as a substrate, you see every log on the sand

My Royal poops like its going out of style. My prefilter looks like a coffee filter. It's a good sign though...

My husbands pleco poops his body weight daily. Makes for lots of cleaning, but he's a cool fish and really worth the trouble.

yea! alrighty, mine at home just doesn't go like that, but he's nice and healthy. MAybe he's a lucky one! YEA FOR POOP!

plecos have a very inefficient digestive system, thats why they crap so much.
