Pleco poop

ok I am loving my black diamond sand. but my royal just poops and poops and poops, atm my filtration is 2x AC110s and a Emperor 400; Till my media for my 2260 arrives and then it will be the 2260 and 1x AC110 on the 225, can I put a powerhead aimed at were the pleco spends most of his time to move the poop or will it slowly over time mess my sand and get it to take flight and kill my filters. My tank looks so good except were the royals favorite piece of wood is at, then it is poop galore, it is nice that lays there but again the same reason it is nice is also its down fall, tired of doing a 5 gallon WC everyday just for pleco poop
 
Wait til you get that 2260/2262. It might create enough current to solve the problem for you. Probably not completely, but enough to make it tolerable.
 
What you're doing removing the crap everyday is the best way to deal with it.
You don't want all of it going into your filters.

I have the flow from a power head aimed towards a dead spot it collects there and I remove it.

I have 2x2262 on the tank and clean them once a month. I take out so much crap from them it's almost hard to believe. If I didn't remove some of the crap daily my filters would be dead by now.

Ok guys thanks, just need to find a wavemsker with a long cord, my off brand won't reach my desired spot, I might do poop duty every other day then, just kills the look

IMO Panaques/royals really need some sort of super mechanical filtration, I din't think I'd ever try keeping them in a tank with canisters! I get a huge handful of sawdust from my four ~20cm every week out of my settling chamber pre-filter, plus more in the tank and in the sponges. I'd look at increasing the circulation, and running some sort of powerhead-driven mechanical sponge filter type thing that is easily cleaned.

TBH I don't mind "the look" though it does annoy me when I'm trying to take pics of the arowana!
 
When my friends come over they always ae poop, doesn't matter even if I just cleaned it, always poop, got 1x and gonna get another one for the other side to keep moving

Have you tried not feeding so much?
More food = more poop
Feed every other day and see what happens
 
Yea it is a light brown poop all under his fav piece of wood, I do algie wafers 3 week and just finally got him on veggies. I can tell when it is food poop vs wood, diff color browns
