pleco question (kinda dumb question)

ok so i will start off saying i know nothing about pleco's. I have 2 brown plecos if that helps XD They seem to swim to the surface often. almost as if to get air??? not sure, is this usual behavior??

Sounds like they need more oxygen. What's your set up like(size, filtration, and stock)?

My common did that quite often. Just to be safe, get a bubble wand or something to create surface movement.

Or if you use power heads point them up to the surface which will create much more surface agitation which in turn will increase oxygen levels.
