Has anybody had experience with either the chocalate albino or the xingu royal pleco?
Max sizes, growth rates, dietary needs. Sorry, don't have the L numbers, this was how they were listed.

They royal panaque is a slow slow grower, when compared to a lot of species of pleco. Chocolates can be very fast growers, and i'm sure others will tell you the same, getting about 12" in a year, but of course differs due to conditions and feeding. All panaque species need bogwood in their diet. They need mostly vegetables in their diet, a lot of roughage. Chocolate will eat more meaty foods, but still needs the veg. I suggest you check out the pleco dietry need thread, lots of info all the way through, including a bit on species feeding.

Thanks for the info,much appreciated.
