So I'm looking for a pleco that stays under 7 inches and I can get for under $20. I want something as far out of the ordinary that I can obtain for that price. I can spend a little more if it's worth it but unfortunately I'm on a tight budget. Help me out!

L-200, L-128 might be your price range... $30-35bucks each... L-128 sometimes more....

They are identical fish except for their color... spots and length are the same.. no bigger than 7" as adults.. and very active plecos...
You can try gold nugget pleco.. they dont grow as big.. but sadly.. their not cheap... Try your local War-mart.. i've heard they get oddball pleco in... Or Petsmart.. where they have exotics as well for a very affordable price..
King Tiger Pleco, Bristle nose, Candy stripe, flash pleco, butterfly pleco, clown pleco, lyra tail pleco are all good examples of small pleco species... But prices vary on each fish.. might be around the $20 dollar budget.. but most of these stay small...

Calico BN, awesome coloration plus they stay small! Rubber lip pleco (also called Bulldog pleco) is another good option!
I think my L-204s ran under $15 each from snookn21. And they are an awesome-looking fish that stays small.

I don't know of anyone who breeds them, sorry. But I do know that snookn21 also usually carries L-201s as well. I got both my 201 and 204 from him. I believe they are all wild caught...
