Wow. How hard are they to get to breed?

That is so cool, I want to breed some plecos like that other than ancistrus. Where do you get your plecos?

Not difficult at all. Hypancistrus are just slightly more difficult (or rather, demanding) to spawn than ancistrus.

I get my fish the same place you get your victorians (nice collection, btw)--from specialist hobbyists and the occasional good deal at the LFS.
