I am planning to build myself a large indoor pond (thinking 15'x6' footprint with a viewing window on the front) a little while down the line once I have the adequate living quarters to do so. This will essentially be turned into a big monster fish community. One of the fish which I am very much interested in owning is a South American Lungfish as it is both my favourite lungfish and the best in terms of compatibility with other fish. I am, however, also interested in having a couple large plecos in there but I am aware that many plecos have a tendency to suck slime coats so I am curious as to which species would be most likely to leave a SAL alone. The main plecos that interest me are Panaques, Common Plecs (P. Pardalis), L95 and Pseudacanthicus species. Would any of these be suitable? If not, is there any pleco that would be?
