Whats up everyone

So I'll keep this short and sweet. I'd like a pleco to serve as a moderate algae control method in one of my tanks. its a native tank containing darters, sunfish and some assorted smaller natives.

Can anyone suggest a reasonably priced hardy pleco that would be good for this tank?
THank you!

Get a central Stoneroller, they're great native algae eaters and most plecos can't take the cold temps that darters like.

Thats a good idea actually...I didn't even think about that...the tank is moderate temp, not tropical temp but the stream I caught the darters at is a pretty temperate area.

Slippery Rock Creek is pretty dang healthy, so you should be able to seine one or two Campostoma (Stonerollers) out within a few minutes in the right spot.
