Well i stumbled onto a few 60gal tanks.. im looking to house a few type of smaller plecos.... snowballs and royals and raise them up and sell them... So what should the insides of the tank be? rocks, BB, gravel mid size or loads of drift wood... Id love to raise snow balls thanks.

barebottom, elevated driftwood, plenty of current

and a siphon vac.....

elevated in like.... a big peace that has a cave under it kinda? say like a table... 4 legs? i didn't know pleco like current... power heads on each side should work just fine? just moving water or air along with it?

when you say snowball- what species do you mean. I know snowballs as Hypancistrus inspector, but you're probably thinking of an entirely different species. Is there an L number?

Royals - Just need bogwood and places of retreat, the rest is up to you. If you wanted to have a natural set up, then it would depend on which royal you purchased and it's locality.

Why don't you breed smaller plecos, therefore having a constant stream of them to raise and sell on, while keeping the parents yourself...?

L-134, L-200, L-128, L-260, L-190.

L200s and L128 are a little big for a 60 gallon to breed in... Definitely recommend you look at breeding some exotics though.

Captive breeding is the way forward for plecos...
or at least a large proportion.

I dont know the L number... called snowballs midnights... close looking to the 007 but smaller i think...

Shame could even be a Scobancistrus sp. Well, you could always be safe, have bogwood in there, plenty of hides, and feed a good diet, probably a meatier diet for snowballs, and a high roughage diet for the royals.

Over looking planted catfish site and found the L115 is the close.... Ill take a pic when i set my 60g up. The LDA33 have more spaced out spaces right? mine look alot closer... some time im lucky to see him dart from one side of the tank to the other... this gives me like 4 sec of viewing time.
