pleco though epoxy

Would clear epoxy if I let to set for one week be tough enough to to come pleco rasping proof when applied to diy aquarium decoration.

My background is DIY and I have big plecos.
What I understand is that epoxi needs to harden for one month...
That's what I know, may be different these days, but I'd say a week is too early!

he wants to know if his diy decoration will stand up to his pleco chewing on it once the eppoxy on teh decoration is hardened.

Aquarium safe silicone would be the way to go. Just let it cure for 24 hours.
