Hello all! Someone recommended I post this here when I put it up in the pleco forum, so please pardon the re-post. I'm just trying to find my mom's fish a good new home.

I convinced my mom to not keep her common pleco in with the goldfish when we moved them to a slightly bigger tank, as I've seen some horrible pictures of what plecos can do on occasion, so he is in a 10 gallon with lots of algae all by himself. I don't want to have to villianize the pleco if he hurts the goldies- he is so neat! Plus, he will need a big tank eventually, and I'd like to get him moved sooner than later.

However, he's a cool little guy, and I really like him so I want to find him a good new home. As a responsible fish person, I'd like to find him a big tank to occupy where he could be happy.

If anyone is in the general Los Angeles county area and has a tank large enough to accommodate him when he grows, please let me know. He is about 3-5 inches right now (eyeballing him) and seems to be in very good health. He is free to a good home, and we can work out the transportation details. Just message me through this forum.

Thank you very much for reading this, and I hope that my mom's lack of foresight will be someone's lucky day :)
