IS there any species that will work or i have heard that if the pleco is bigger than the ray it will not bother it is this true. Thanks any info, pesonle stories or pics will help

I have had zebra pleco and scarlet in with my leo and never had any problems, rays were all much larger then the pleco.
Thanks I'll go look at those

Bushynose tend to clean really well for me... I usually just throw my albino bushynose in the ray tank and by the next morning the glass is spotless..

If your having other algae problems, your leaving your light on too long and have too many nitrates, which you should be doing lots of W/C's for rays anyways..

Zebras and Scarlets are both carnivorious species. I'd try to get some sort of Ancistrus species( bristlenose/bushynose) They are one of the best algae eaters.

Has any one had luck with these?

Do your plecos eat the algea or do u just have them in there for looks?
