Right now I have a flowerhorn about 7'' living alone in a 55G bowfront. I'm thinking about moving him to a new 72G bowfront so he can have a bit more space to swim around as he get bigger. The thing is it feel a bit too lonely to have just him in that tank so I want to know if there is a kind of pleco that I can keep with him.
What is your experience with keeping pleco with aggressive cichlid? I know there is some pleco that can be kept with aggressive cichild according to planetcatfish, like the Leopard cactus L114(which is my favorite looking pleco so far), sunshine, scarlet cactus.
If I can't see a pleco that I can keep with the flowerhorn I will just keep the fish alone and not risk putting another hundreds dollar fish with him.

I think by it being new tank n not his first home It b ok , flowerhorn might pick at it sometimes

BTW I forgot to say that I have had experienced keeping common pleco with flowerhorn about 7 years ago and after that I thought that I can't keep pleco with flowerhorn until I know more about pleco in the last 1 year or so. Because a flowerhorn I had 7-8 years ago almost killed the 20'' common pleco while he was only 8''.

I've had flowerhorn with all my expensive rare pleco an never had an problems. Only thing was I added the FH last and was small about 2-3" and grew it out about 7-8" til I sold it never bothered any tank mates although I made sure it was full all the time lol
