I just bought an albino chocolate pleco. Is my bichir safe if I put zucchini in there every night for the pleco?

I have the same pleco, and for the two or so months he was with my sens there were no problems. I have since separated them just to be safe and he's a lot more active now so either he was afraid of the bichirs or he's reached a phase where he wouldve caused problems for them.
