Pleco

I have a common pleco in with some African cichlids and today I noticed he has white stuff on his skin and his fins like a little torn up! I don't think he is being pick on by other fish! I'm leaning towards a infection of some sort but don't know what it is or how to treat it! Any help would be appreciated!

Turn up the heater to mid 80s and add aquarium salt. There are ich treatments you can buy at the store but I personally would just do salt and heat.
