plecos and acrylic???

can you keep plecos in acrylic tanks??? or will they scratch
up the acrylic??
I have plenty of driftwood for them to chew on.......

I heard only the panaque's damage acrylic, but my gold spot left suction marks in the back corner of my acrylic tank, luckily its behind the heater so its never visible

I had a watermelon pleco years back that ruined my acrylic 90. I would think you would be safe with any of the more carnivourous plecos such as the pseudacanthicas species.
