I know, I know, plecos are scavengers, but I can't help thinking that at night when mine is lurking around the bottom of the tank when everyone else is asleep that he might be picking off some babies (salvini and pike cichlid fry). Is it a good idea to keep plecos and fry together in the same tank? Was wondering if anybody might have had a negative experience with this combination..
