Plecos and Potatoes

just out of curiosity can you feed plecos pieces of potato, is it safe and will they eat it?

BN plecos do love sweet potatoes.

I have not tried regular old baking/russet potatoes, however.

Yah thats good maybe i'll give it a try, they are wicked cheap by me and I would be great to supplement that with other veggies

You should be careful with potatoes as they cloud the water fast.

Yah water cloudiness is always a consern, but for the tank I'm using I have a pretty nasty sump system which I built myself (proud to say), and cloudiness is not really a problem as it polishes the whater quite nicely.

potato is only good for one day.. after that.. i'll cloudy up the tank... its starch so its not that great in water... But i find Royals to like them alot..
