What kind of medications are out there for plecos with early stages of Ich?

Yeah this for my stepdad,He keeps his tank temp between 80 and 85 with no filter.He thinks by just sucking up the poop off the bottom and doing daily water changes that he doesn't need a pump.I know what your thinking,but he thinks he knows what he's doing.

Agreed. Make sure he gets the RidIch+ (with the plus sign). It's the one that's safe for catfish/plecs.
