I think my royal plecos love carving the wood cause its making loud noise by doing that at night time I dropped vegies tablet food (Hikari) in my tank for it but its never touch it and actually my cory cat love those vegies food more than a plecos. At least my royal plecos keep algae that grow on my driftwood under control hehehe
