Plecos? If any?

How would a retic ray fare with a group of smaller plecos, say L333? Is there much risk of disc damage?

No. I have never seen my rays do any farm to plecos.

I meant the other way around. The Hypans sucking on the ray? I was hoping that if they are small, if they do happen to make a mistake it won't be fatal, as rays in aus cost **** loads.

my Leo's have killed a few pleco's including a 14" L095

i dont think you will have a problem with L333 and Retics

By L333 I meant those type hypans in general. Does it matter? What about panaques? Like L204.

I think that some of the smaller panaque species should be ok, i certainly wouldnt mix royals with them. Hypancistrus arent too bad. I would consider them ray safe and even discus safe.

I know of members that have mixed L-14 goldy plecos with rays, they are probably my fave pleco species of all time, we have some in the shop and they are stunning. Could be a possible co hab.?

I've never seen a good situation with plecos and docile bottom dwellers. Best to avoid the risk.
