Upload pics of the damage your plecos have done to your acrylic tanks, want to see how severe it is on average before I put any of them near my 240 gallon acrylic.

I can't help...never owned acrylic. It has been extremely slow around here since the forum crash.

man I would like to see that to.. as I am looking at a large acrylic tank of 260 g 4x4x2. I would get an Adonis or cactus plecs . I have yet to see my Adonis near the glass yet.

I've had my panaques in my acrylic 240 and 135 for 3 years. They haven't caused any damage whatsoever. They've also always had lots of wood and veggies dropped in on a regular basis. I think as long as they have enough natural things to chew on they will stay away from the acrylic.

I have: L018, L014, L240, L200, L128, L183.

I've never had an issue with plecos damaging my acrylic tanks. I currently have a L14, L24, L114, Xanthos chubby, and a plain sailfin.

I'm buying an acrylic 8x4x30" in the next 2 years. I currently own:
1xL128 @4"
1xL177 @4"
1x L190 @7"
1x L330 @7"
1x L191 @9"
1x L203 @13"

I am confident that with enough wood they won't destroy the acrylic. But the health of the fish is the most important part to me. Plus I don't want a glass tank that big. I currently have them in a glass 225.

Holy hell, that's a huge tank. My LFS has a 10ft x 4ft x 30" display with a 9" L200 green phantom that made the acrylic look like someone wiped it with sandpaper.
