Plecos safe for a planted tank

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Of those choices, L134 and L204 will be safer bets. Just make sure they are kept full and happy. Do keep in mind that some plecos, like the L134, requires higher temperatures, higher than many plants would like.

Oh, and it's not only about rather they will eat them or not, if you have delicate plants, they will rearrange them for you at will.

Thanks, yeah my tanks Is always above 81 degrees. As I keep discus in it. Also have some cichlids so. Yeah I have read the 200s are good with plants but I'm likely some of the others to so. Right now I have anibias and swords in but will be adding a lot more plants.

Yeah I don't want ottos anyways. Right now I'm just lost between L134s, 66s, 204s, and maybe 200s. If i don't get 200s I will get a male and female of 2 of the others. Probably 134s and 204s.

put l333 on the list too, they are like a yellow l66.
