I have always known commons did goldfish and recently learned commons do it to bichirs, what about other species. Was thinking of moving my royal in with ornates but scared he may do the same, though I know some plecos are different with needs, I figured since my royal sucked wood all day it would be ok .

I lost a bichirs due to this so I suggest you monitor your tank if you do. On one of my other tanks my pleco would not mess with the bichirs but then again he has to watch back or else my dat n bass will knock him out.

Alright, just wanted to know, I want to move him and add a few small ones, would there be a chance of him doing it to my bgk or do they move to fast

I had a marble sailfin that only wanted meat, I gave it to my buddy who got rid of it after it pinned down and killed his male festae.

Royals are veggie eaters. If you provide them with driftwood and enough food, there's no reason it'll go after something that's unnatural to them. Omnivores and carnivores are different stories.

Plecos are also a little too slow for most cichlids. If it's able to pin down a cichlid, it's probably already weakened and on it's way out.....

I've had my Senegal for over 10+ years with some of my panaque and for over 6+ years with some hypostomus with no issues at all. There's also a few scobi's in there as well. They all eat and hang out together it's pretty fun to watch.

Well fed plecos won't suck on other fish. I've been keeping plecos with goldfish for 23 years and never once did a pleco even try to go after a goldfish or any other fish.
