hi all, will plecos, corydoras, chinese algae eater and weather loaches do well in the same tank? I'm planning to set up new tank for them together
cheers

I'd avoid the Chinese algae eaters as these one suck slime coat as they mature. The rest though certainly will work. What species of plecos will you keep? How big is the tank?

I dont now what's the name of it, but it certainly has a yellow color and red eye, still very small, about less than 1 inch so as the rest, tanks again

Albino bristlenose pleco? How much did you pay for it and who's your source?

is that Albino bristlenose pleco?
the tank would be 50x50x40 cm
I'm planning to buy more plecos, and corys in it,
as for the price, I live in indonesia, so they are very cheap here, I paid less than 1 dollar,:D
thanks again

The snout shape tells me it's not one of the Ancistrus sp. but possibly one of the monstrous Pterygoplichthys. Ask pleco forum for ID on this as a separate topic from this. Post here once you have the exact answer.

Looks like a Chocolate Pleco. I agree with Lupin.

by the way, will catfish do well with the combination I mentioned above?

Which catfish are you talking about?

Your pleco ID thread confirms my suspicion it's a Pterygoplichthys pardalis. This is one of the largest plecos at 18-24 inches. Your tank is really very small for this fish. You need to replace this with one of the species of Ancistrus.

thanks for the info, as for the size of the pleco, I have a very large pond in my backyard, already there several koi and 2 large common pleco, so at this moment is only for a grow out tank, I'll put up some picts of my pond as soon as we finish renovationg the yard, by the way thanks for all the info, I'll take a pict of the cat fish soon
