plecos with baby datnoids

I have a 3-4" LDA33 pleco (big white spot). I also have 5x .5" indo datnoids. Is it safe to put the pleco with the baby datnoids? Im afraid the baby datnoids might rest on the bottom and the pleco might sneek up from behind and just suck in the baby datnoids.

Lol... It's fine nothings going to happen to the datnoids, however when the datnoids reach about 7" you should worry about them sucking your plecos once they're small enough to fit into the datnoids mouth.

They'll be fine together. I've kept super huge plecos in a tank with a ton of 1" datnoids and did not have a single problem.

I have a friend who kept a snowball with baby dats.. their fine together. just make sure hiding space is available..

I currently have 3 L-368s (similar to LDA33) at 4" with 12 - 3 bar Indo Datnoids about 2-3inches without any problem. I have never seen a confrontation between them. you should be fine.

i think u would be fine... but it might depend on the plec.. i have 2 commons, my sm common on occasion will pounce on a feeder and suck the life out of it. so i keep it in a separate tank than my baby indos
