I have a green swordtail female who is in good health, except:
She has 2 "bumps" on her. These bumps are about 1/8 of an inch, and are underneath her skin. She had one of them when I first purchased her, and I didn't think of it, as it appeared to be part of her insides, as it didn't protrude much. Her skin is kind of transparent.
She has now developed a 2nd bump on the other side of her, and this one is definitely a bump.
These look like small whiteish/yellow beans or peas on the INSIDE of her skin. They do not appear to be bothering her, and I have not noticed any of these on the male green I purchased at the same time. Both are in isolation. Concerned, I moved him to his own isolation tank for the time being.
Anyone have any idea what these might be? I have tried to get a picture, but she is just moving too darned fast for the camera to get one.
