pleurophthalma with AM cichlids?

i have two 8 inches pleuros that i want to give some tankmates.. i've tried to keep them with other fish before, but it always comes out bad... right know i keep them with two texas cichlids and for the firs time ever it's going great! so what do you guys think? can i continue to keep them with ruff cichlids or will it eventually become a nightmare? i'm planning to keep them with maybe festae green terror JD and some more...

hi i dont think a good idea to give pleuro a cichlids for tankmates ...
in my opinion pleuro is not aggressive enough compare to other big Channa speceies ...
in other way cichlids are aggressive ...
i have 3 pleuro for tankmates i give Datnioides and Polypterus ..
